To be eligible for financial aid, students must be admitted to a degree-seeking program. Some scholarships also require full-time enrollment of at least nine credit hours per semester.<\/p>\n<h3>Assistantships<\/h3>\n<p>Graduate assistantships may be available for SISLT students. For information about current opportunities, please contact Amy Adam, Senior Student Services Coordinator, at <a href=\"mailto:adamae@missouri.edu\">adamae@missouri.edu<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3>SISLT Scholarships<\/h3>\n<p>SISLT scholarship applications are reviewed once each year in the spring, with awards distributed during the following fall and spring terms. By completing the <a href=\"https:\/\/cehd.missouri.edu\/admissions\/graduate-financial-assistance\/\">Graduate Student Scholarship<\/a> application by April 1, both current and prospective students are automatically considered for all SISLT scholarships for which they are eligible.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"shaded-bg\">External LIS Scholarships<\/h3>\n<p>Additional scholarships are offered through organizations such as the Missouri Library Association, Nebraska Library Association, the Missouri State Library, and other agencies that support students in library and information science.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/molib.org\/awards\/scholarships\/\">Missouri Library Association Scholarships<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.maslonline.org\/?page=scholarships\">Missouri Association for School Librarians \u2014 Scholarships<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.nebraskalibraries.org\/?page=sanda\">Nebraska Library Association Scholarships<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ala.org\/educationcareers\/libcareers\/financial\">American Library Association Scholarships<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>SISLT students may apply for a variety of financial aid options.
