The master of arts with an emphasis in school psychology is completed as part of the school psychology PhD degree program.

Completion of the MA program alone does not lead to licensure as a psychologist nor state certification as a school psychologist. Graduates of both the MA and PhD programs are eligible for licensure as a psychologist and state certification as a school psychologist, pending completion of additional examinations specified in their intended jurisdiction.
