Kate is a Pre-ETS Specialist serving the Southeast Region. Before joining the team at MU, she worked as a special educator in self-contained classrooms at both the middle and high school levels. Her experience also includes a year teaching at the Dysart School in London, England. Kate holds a Bachelor of Science in Education with an emphasis in Exceptional Child Education – Mild/Moderate Cross-Categorical (K–12) from Southeast Missouri State University. She has a strong background in supporting students as they work toward their transition goals and is passionate about empowering students with disabilities to reach their full potential.

Kate serves students in the following school districts in the Bootheel:  Advance, Campbell, Caruthersville, Clarkton, Clearwater, Cooter, Delta C-7, Gideon, Greenville, Hayti, Holcomb, Kennett, Malden, New Madrid, North Pemiscot, Poplar Bluff, Portageville, Risco, Senath, South Pemiscot, and Southland.
