Lindsay Woods
- Pre-ETS Specialist
Lindsay Woods serves as a Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS) Specialist for the Southeast Missouri region. She brings extensive experience in education and student transition services, along with a deep passion for helping young people successfully navigate the path from high school to adulthood. Lindsay holds a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communications, a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction, and an Educational Specialist degree in Educational Leadership. She spent 15 years as a special education teacher, working with students of varying abilities and needs at both the middle school and high school levels. During her educational career, she also served as a district Transition Coordinator, focusing on preparing students for life beyond high school. While teaching at the high school level, Lindsay discovered her passion for supporting students and families through the important transitional stages of education, employment, and independent living. Her dedication to student success was recognized in 2022 when she was named Educator of the Year by the Dexter Chamber of Commerce. As a Pre-ETS Specialist, Lindsay is committed to empowering students with the skills, resources, and confidence they need to achieve their goals and pursue meaningful futures. She looks forward to building relationships with students and families throughout Southeast Missouri and supporting them as they prepare for the opportunities ahead.
Lindsay serves students in the following schools: Advance, Bell City, Bernie, Bloomfield, Charleston, Dexter, East Prairie, Oran, Puxico, Puxico Tech, Richland R-I, Scott County Central, Thomas Kelly High, Sikeston, and Zalma.
