Dr. Megyn Martin completed her doctorate in Special Education from the University of Missouri. Previously, Dr. Martin spent eight years teaching elementary special education, working with students with a wide range of academic and behavioral support needs.

Dr. Martin’s research draws on her classroom experience and centers on supporting educators in implementing evidence-based practices for students with extensive support needs and intellectual and developmental disabilities. Additionally, she also works to improve outcomes for students with disabilities by developing, evaluating, and disseminating practical, evidence-based interventions that can be implemented in naturalistic school settings.
