A total of 58 University of Missouri College of Education research projects were on display at the annual Research Day held Nov. 9th at the MU Reynolds Alumni Center. The event was an opportunity for faculty and students to present their research to a wide audience and network about possible collaboration opportunities.

After the poster presentation, Dr. Walter Allen, Distinguished Professor and the Allan Murray Cartter Professor of Higher Education at the University of California – Los Angeles, gave a presentation titled, “Improving Campus Climates for Diversity and Inclusive Excellence: Perspectives from Research, Lived Experiences and Institutional Realities.”

“Research Day is a chance to celebrate the outstanding research being conducted in Mizzou Ed,” said Matt Burns, associate dean for research. “It is a chance to have in-depth conversations across departments and outreach units, and for graduate students to further their research development.”
