Rose Wellborn joined the Horizons Team serving Missouri Schools for the Severely Disabled, serving students with the most significant physical and developmental needs in 2022. Her passion lies in helping students cultivate skills that they can use to achieve independent success. When she is not at work, she likes to relax at home, shop at the local markets, catch a concert, and add to her record collection.

Rose serves the following Missouri State Schools and life skills classrooms:  Carrollton Life Skills; EW Thompson (Sedalia); Prairie View (Marshall); Rolling Meadows (Higginsville); Sedalia Life Skills; and Verelle Peniston (Chillicothe).
