Yujia is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis at the University of Missouri. Her research explores social and educational inequality in both schools and homes, with a particular focus on policies and programs that support teacher recruitment, development, and retention, and their implications for student learning environments.

Yujia earned her Ph.D. in Education Policy in Social Context from the University of California, Irvine. She also holds an M.Ed. in International Education Policy and Management from Vanderbilt University and a B.A. in Sociology from Peking University.
