Dr. Madison Imler-Brandt is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and Licensed Behavior Analyst. She serves as an Assistant Teaching Professor in the Department of Special Education in the College of Education & Human Development at the University of Missouri.
   
Her teaching and research are grounded in extensive clinical and school-based experience. She has served as a behavior analyst in an interdisciplinary clinical setting and consulted with Missouri public school districts supporting their function-based behavioral supports. This applied background informs her instruction at the University of Missouri, emphasizing the transformation of behavioral science into effective and ethical practice across all professional contexts. Her research interests focus on the application of behavior analytic principles, particularly the implementation and sustainability of severe challenging behavior interventions and supports. She also focuses on functional behavior assessment, function-based interventions, and supporting educators and practitioners who implement behavioral interventions. Dr. Imler-Brandt is dedicated to translating research into practice to ensure that behavioral supports are evidence-based, practical, and sustainable for application in classrooms, clinics, and communities.
