The master of education (MEd) with an emphasis in school psychology is completed as part of the school psychology education specialist (EdSp) degree program.

Completion of the MEd program alone does not lead to licensure as a psychologist nor state certification as a school psychologist. Graduates of both the MEd and EdS programs are eligible for licensure as a psychologist and state certification as a school psychologist, pending completion of additional examinations specified in their intended jurisdiction.
