Leadership Solutions is an extension of the Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis department within the College of Education. Empowering K-12 school districts and educational entities with opportunities for organizational growth, Leadership Solutions designs new avenues for adult learning. Leadership Solutions harnesses the knowledge of national and local researchers, the power of practitioners in the field, with a variety of learning venues to support educational change. A clear focus is directed toward K-12 student advancement. Leadership roles impacted include school district administration, coordinators, instructional coaches, teacher leaders, and staff from educational organizations. Leadership Solutions structures systems of collaboration linking educators in different geographic regions. On site, workshop based, and technology based options are available.

Technology as a Tool for Training
Technology will be utilized to provide digital learning and link educators in sharing information. Twitter is one example of technology used to support Professional Learning Networks.
On-Site Consulting
Service is tailored to the needs of the district from superintendent and principal support to team implementation. Needs are evaluated, action plans are formulated, and implementation of service is carried out. Service is adjusted to meet the demands of the district or organization.
Training from National Researchers and Experts
National researchers and experts provide a wealth of educational information. Presentations will be offered, and will be linked to other opportunities for continued support.
Leaders Empowering Leaders
This format began three years ago with much success. Leaders from school districts that worked for years to perfect an aspect of education will present, meet in small group sessions, and provide support for others in the state.
Professional Learning Networks
Professional Learning Networks have been established around specific aspects of implementation. The Professional Learning Network is targeted to allow leaders to share and expand their knowledge in specific areas of student learning.
Links to Leaders
A goal of Leadership Solutions is to continue to increase contact with others in the same job alike role. Face to face contacts and technology can aid in growing a number of individuals to support implementation.
Knowledge Builders to Implementation
Workshop series will be offered to act as “knowledge builders”. An understanding of concepts first will impact the development of future improvement plans.
Multiple District Training
Groups of districts are brought together for the purpose of initial learning. These trainings can be a base for cohorts that evolve.
Custom Training
Trainings are provided that are tailored to the needs of an organization, professional group, or school entity.
