Every year, a select group of first-year teachers is chosen to become MU Teaching Fellows. This rigorous, nationally recognized one-year graduate program gives first-year teachers the opportunity to complete a master’s degree while gaining teaching experience under the guidance of a full-time mentor teacher. Students are placed in an MPER partner school, which is the largest school partnership in the nation with more than 365 schools in 22 districts in Missouri. Upon completion of the program, teaching fellows will earn a master of education in learning, teaching and curriculum. This program is housed within the Hook Center.
