Amber N. Smith, PhD is an Assistant Teaching Professor of Early Childhood Education in the Department of Learning, Teaching, and Curriculum.  With her teaching, research, and professional experience in informal learning spaces and anti-bias curriculum, both domestically and abroad, she applies anti-bias curriculum principles to teaching pre-service early childhood education teachers to promote and advocate for social justice in early childhood education.
