Cheryl Hasinbiller

  • Pre-ETS Specialist – Horizons

Cheryl Hasinbiller began as an MU Pre-Employment Transition Specialist in September 2022. She earned a bachelor’s degree from St. Mary’s University and a Master’s in Education from Lindenwood University in 2002. Since then, she has held several educational positions, including Physical Education teacher and varsity coach at Visitation Academy in St. Louis. She worked in the Essential Skills classroom in the Wentzville School District before accepting the Director of Special Sports role. Cheryl most recently served as the Program Director for the Independent Living Program at Missouri Mentor. She loves working with individuals with developmental disabilities and wants to make a difference in their lives. Cheryl’s passion is to teach students and athletes life skills so they can be productive and successful.

Cheryl serves the following Missouri State Schools for the Severely Disabled and life skills classrooms:  Autumn Hill (Union); Franklin County COOP; Hannibal Life Skills; High Road (Wright City); Lillian Schaper (Bowling Green); Mississippi Valley (Hannibal); Northwest Life Skills; and Pacific Life Skills.
