DeAn is a member of the Northwest team and joined the Pre-ETS program from Verelle Peniston State School where she was a special education teacher. Prior to that she was an employer services representative for Missouri Workforce Development, a youth community support specialist for Preferred Family Healthcare, a child forensic interviewer and child/family advocate for North Central Missouri Children’s Advocacy Center, an alternative high school teacher at Chillicothe School District, and has also taught at Carrollton and Tin-Avalon. She has a B.A. in Elementary Education with Reading Concentration from Graceland University and graduate hours in Secondary School Counseling from Central Missouri State University. DeAn is committed to being a positive influence in the lives of children and young adults.

DeAn serves schools in Harrison, Daviess, Gentry, Grundy, Worth and DeKalb counties: Albany; Gallatin; Gilman City; Jefferson C123; King City; Kirksville; North Harrison; Pattonsburg; South Harrison; Stanberry; Trenton; Tri-County; Union Star; Winston; and Worth County.
