Megan Peterson
- Pre-ETS Specialist
Megan Peterson is a Pre-ETS specialist in the Northwest Region. She graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and French, and earned a Master’s in Special Education from the University of Missouri – St. Louis. She spent two years in Marksville, Louisiana, where she taught high school English for two years through Teach for America before moving to New Orleans to teach Special Education. In 2017, she returned to her home state and became an Employment Specialist at The Whole Person. She joined the MU Pre-ETS team in 2019.
Megan serves life skills classrooms in the following school districts In Kansas City: Academie Lafayette, Allen Village, Anderson Alternative/Success Academy, Crossroads Preparatory Academy, DeLaSalle Education Center, Ewing Marion Kauffman, Frontier School of Excellence, Frontier STEM, Guadalupe Center (Alta Vista), Hogan Preparatory Academy, Kansas City Virtual Academy, Success Academy Alternative, Central Academy of Excellence, East High, Lincoln College Preparatory Academy, Northeast High, Paseo Academy of Fine and Performing Arts, Southeast High, KIPP Endeavor Academy, KVC Academy, Plaza Academy, and University Academy.
