Pam Wheeler

Pam Wheeler is a retired special education teacher, completing 28 years primarily at the junior high level. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree at Southeast Missouri State University and has completed graduate level coursework in Special Education and Missouri Conservation classes. After retirement from the public school system, she continued teaching an additional six years under Division of Youth Services in the Southwest Region. She has combined her interest in career opportunities, reading, and outdoor activities by sampling various seasonal jobs during school breaks, including working for KOA, summer camps, greenhouse businesses, Bass Pro and Barnes & Noble, to name a few.

Pam serves the following Missouri Schools for the Severely Disabled:  College View (Joplin); Greene Valley (Springfield); Oakview (Monett); Ozark Horizons (West Plains) and Skyview (Mountain Grove). She also serves Life Skills classrooms at Hillcrest High School; Republic High School; Willard High School; and Duenweg Education Center/Beacon Autism Center.
