Roberta Carson is the Missouri Career Pathways Consultant for the Heart of Missouri.

She worked as a secondary teacher and counselor and holds a Bachelor’s degree in English and Speech from Central Methodist and Master’s in Educational and Counseling Psychology from University of Missouri.

Recognizing that schools are essential to the vitality and economic strength of communities, Roberta works with schools to determine the high demand careers, explore training options, develop pathways that lead to careers, and promote work-based learning and career development. Missouri Career Pathways provides externship grants to connect educators with area employers for hands -on exposure to business and industry.

Sharing similar goals, Roberta collaborates with the Career Advisor position to promote success readiness for every student.
