Wilson Castaño Muñoz is an associate professor at the Interamerican School of Library and Information Science at the University of Antioquia, Medellín, Colombia. He works in the technology core for undergraduate students.

He is pursuing his doctoral degree in Information Science and Learning Technologies at the University of Missouri. His research interests are information science technologies, digital reading, information literacy and digital repositories.

He received a Master of Digital Communication from the University of Antioquia.
