Hello! My name is Tanya Churaman. I am a doctoral student at the University of Missouri, pursuing my passion for Information Science and Learning Technologies. My academic journey includes a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2019 and 2020 respectively. Currently, I hold the role of Psychometrics Data Manager at Pearson, where I contribute to the advancement of educational tools and assessments.

My research interests lie in Instructional Design, Human-Computer Interaction, XR Technologies, and Educational Technology. My goal is to enhance learning experiences within digital environments, promoting confident skill development and impactful knowledge acquisition. This drive led me to both Pearson and my pursuit of a doctoral degree.

In my free time, I enjoy reading fantasy and science fiction books, occasionally writing my own stories. I also find pleasure in going to the cinema to experience a diverse range of movies.
