Zeinab Parishani

Zeinab is a Ph.D. student and GRA at the School of Information Science & Learning Technologies (SISLT) iSchool. She received her Master of Science degree in Library and Information Science (LIS) from Tarbiat Modares University. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Library Science from University of Tehran in Iran.
She has worked as a data analyst for five years. At SMTEAM, a construction company headquartered in Zurich, she designed and managed a database of the company’s construction projects in Switzerland and in Iran, archiving residential and commercial energy usage data and analyzing for minimal energy waste. She also was a bibliotherapist and patient care data archiver for three years in the Pars Hospital in Tehran.
In the PhD program, she studies how to design inclusive and accessible technology-enhanced learning environments for neurodiverse learners. Her research interests lie in Virtual Reality and Game Design; Neurodiversity and Inclusion; Human-Computer Interaction; Digital, media and archival studies; Scientometrics.
