Nicole Abiad is a PhD student in Information Sciences and Learning Technologies at the University of Missouri. She has an MA in International Studies from the University of Denver and an MS in Psychology from Arizona State University. Originally from Santa Fe, NM, Nicole has been living in the Middle East since 2011. She is currently the Writing Center Coordinator at Virginia Commonwealth University School of the Arts Qatar in Doha, Qatar. Her research interests lie at the intersection of AI, Education, and Psychology. She is particularly interested in perceptions of AI as a tool and collaborator.
