Dr. David Aguayo, an immigrant from Mexico, earned his Ph.D. at the University of Missouri. Most recently, as a member of the Missouri Prevention Science Institute, Dr. Aguayo has focused on: (1) research to improve culturally responsive and inclusive school practices for teachers and leaders; (2) working with youth as researchers to improve school mental health; (3) conduct program and organizational evaluations for local and international settings.
