Event Description: Connecting academic research to day-to-day decisions can be challenging. In this session, a panel of faculty from the University of Missouri’s College of Education and Human Development will share practical strategies for finding and using research to support students, staff, and school communities. Panelists will highlight examples from their own work, offer ideas for overcoming common barriers, and discuss how leaders can partner with researchers on initiatives. Topics will include aligning research with school and district priorities, using policy briefs and summaries for decision-making, and building research-practice partnerships.
