Andrew is a PhD student in the School of Information Science and Learning Technologies at the University of Missouri. He earned his Master of Science in Information Sciences from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and currently serves as a middle school librarian in Atlanta, Georgia. Prior to becoming a school librarian, Andrew spent more than a decade as a high school English and theater educator. He is especially interested in how these influences contribute to literacy identity and engagement in an increasingly media-rich world.
