Professional Staff Council

Supporting, Connecting and Advocating for Professional Staff

The Professional Staff Council (PSC) represents and supports professional staff across the College of Education & Human Development. Through advocacy, communication and engagement, the council works to strengthen the professional staff experience while promoting a collaborative and inclusive college community.

PSC serves as a voice for professional staff by sharing feedback with college leadership, recognizing staff achievements, encouraging professional growth and fostering connections among colleagues. Through events, professional development opportunities and service initiatives, the council helps celebrate the many contributions professional staff make to the success of the college.

Staff Events

The Professional Staff Council sponsors a variety of events, workshops and professional development opportunities throughout the year. These activities provide opportunities to connect with colleagues, build new skills and engage with the CEHD community. Watch your email for information about upcoming events and programs.

Membership

Members serve three-year terms beginning in July.
Members meet one to two times per month, with additional meetings scheduled as needed for events and special initiatives.
Council activities include event planning, staff recognition programs, professional development opportunities, fundraising efforts, advocacy for professional staff and sharing feedback with college leadership.
