For Taylor DeMint ‘26, becoming a teacher is more than a career goal. It is an opportunity to give back to the community that helped shape her.  A recent graduate from the University of Missouri College of Education & Human Development, DeMint has been named a recipient of the Missouri Teacher Leader of Tomorrow Award, a statewide recognition honoring outstanding pre-service teachers who demonstrate exceptional promise, leadership and commitment to the teaching profession.

Project SEMILLAS, led by Mizzou researcher Ayça Fackler, recently released new podcast episodes featuring middle school students sharing stories and perspectives from their own communities through science-focused conversations and storytelling.
