Undergraduate students in the College of Education & Human Development are assigned an advisor before the start of their freshmen years.

Advisors are available to help guide and mentor students during their undergraduate years. Advisors assist in finding a program that best fits the individual student’s interests, makes sure students are enrolled in the appropriate classes and answers any questions students might have related to the College of Education & Human Development.

Schedule an Appointment

Self-advising is not recommended. It is strongly encouraged that you meet with your adviser at least once a semester before enrolling in classes. Current Education majors visit muconnect.missouri.edu my success network to schedule an advising appointment.

For students currently attending the University of Missouri who are looking to change their major to the College of Education & Human Development:

  • Schedule an appointment using MU Connect
    • Click “Services”, in the search box type “MizzouEd”
    • Click “College of Education & Human Development Advising Services”
    • Choose an adviser and click “Schedule Appointment”
