Library & Information Science Ireland Experience

Learn about Dublin, Belfast, and Derry/Londonderry. The class will meet online for four weeks prior to departure, during which time you will read about the libraries, culture, and history of Ireland and Northern Ireland. The trip will bring your readings to life, as we tour libraries and important cultural and historical sites. Nightly discussions and optional fun cultural events will round out this educational experience. Cap off your Ireland experience with the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA) for the World Library and Information Conference in Dublin, Ireland, August 15-21, 2020. Build your knowledge base and extend your professional network at the IFLA Conference, which is attended by hundreds of librarians from all over the world. Earn six hours of graduate credit ISLT 9410 and ISLT 9448.
