Updates to Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act have set standards and a deadline for ensuring that all digital content and platforms are accessible to individuals with disabilities.
What does that mean to you?
In this class, you will learn how to design learning materials and digital environments that are inclusive of the estimated 1 in 5 students who have at least one disability.
Students will develop a foundational understanding of digital accessibility laws, Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), and Universal Design for Learning (UDL) in the building of equitable learning environment for all rather than accommodating specific users.
